About Us
Welcome to the website for the University of St Andrews' physics society, QuantumSoc.
As a society we are here to promote the understanding and enjoyment of physics. We host a number of events throughout the year, including day trips, pub quizzes, liquid nitrogen ice-cream events, movie nights, and an annual ball. This year we also have a trip to the JET facility in Oxfordshire lined up for semester two. Basically if something can be tenuously linked to physics, we'll do it!
The society has something to offer everyone: from the Einsteins of the future, to those who want to get to know their fellow physicists a little better, to those with a bit of an interest in the subject.
